Kaun Banega Crorepati 2 - The Second Series
KBC in its second series, offered double the prize money - a whopping Rs. 2 crores!
Hosted once again by superstar Amitabh Bachchan, it was the biggest interactive show in the history of Indian television. The contestants had to work their way through 15 questions to win an unprecedented amount of prize money.
The contest was open to members of the viewing public in India, who had to qualify through a telephony system via landline, mobile (i.e. voice and/or SMS) to enter the TV rounds of the contest.
