Foodistan
Foodistan was unlike any other food show on Indian television. Developed and produced by BIG Synergy in association with NDTV Good Times, it was the first-ever televised food feud between accomplished and professional chefs from India and Pakistan.
The format pits 16 professional chefs (8 from India and 8 from Pakistan) against each other. There is keen competition along the way, with a delectable array of dishes inspired by the tastes of the subcontinent till one chef is ultimately crowned the ruler of Foodistan.
Hosted by the lively pair of Aly Khan and Ira Dubey, the show had an experienced and articulate panel of judges in Sonya Jehan from Pakistan, Vir Sanghvi from India and Merrilees Parker from Great Britain.
Foodistan aired on NDTV Good Times at 9:30pm from Monday to Wednesday, 2012.
