India's Got Talent Khoj 2

For its second season, the performers for India's Got Talent were sourced from the interiors of the country's expanse with even greater participation by lesser represented parts of the country, small towns, villages and the North East. While the acts were as magnificent as in the first season, this season saw more senior citizens and kids participating as well.

The second season also saw a new judge – Sajid Khan, director, writer and comic par excellence – who replaced Shekhar Kapur, and joined Kirron Kher and Sonali Bendre.

With a mix of Bollywood, Khasi (native to Meghalaya) and western opera, the original musical style of the Shillong Chamber Choir won them the top spot on India's Got Talent Khoj 2, beating eight other highly entertaining acts in the finals.

Telecast Fridays and Saturdays, 9 pm, on Colors, the second season of India's Got Talent, across 19 episodes, was one of the top-rated non-fiction shows on Indian television.
